OUR SERVICES

We provide comprehensive evaluations and clinical assessments, identifying both strengths and difficulties affecting body, mind, and spirit. We also offer holistic psychotherapy, counseling, bodywork, and wellness skills coaching.

Our treatment approaches are grounded in rigorous scientific evidence, with clinical practices that are state of the art. We believe in our health practices both personally and professionally, and we believe in promoting balance, health, and wellness, with attention to body, mind, and spirit.

We are passionate about experiential treatment approaches and self-actualization, with attention to the facilitation of strengths and talents, such as music, art, and other forms of self-expression and creativity. We celebrate diversity in all forms, and we encourage spiritual growth through personally-relevant worship activities.

DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOR THERAPY
(DBT) PROGRAM

Wisdom Path provides a DBT skills group based on the 32 week full curriculum of evidence based treatment developed by Marsha Linehan, PhD.  The following 8 week modules include:

  • Mindfulness: The goals are to reduce pain and suffering, increase one’s ability to take

control of their mind, and to learn how to be present in each moment intentionally

experiencing their reality without judgement and attachment to the moment.

  • Distress Tolerance: The goals are to learn how to survive crisis situations without

making them worse, to replace suffering and feeling stuck with ordinary pain and the

possibility of moving forward and becoming free of having to satisfy the demands of your

intense emotions.

  • Emotion Regulation: The goals are to identify and understand what emotions do for

you, decrease the frequency of unpleasant emotions and the suffering they cause,

decrease vulnerability to unpleasant emotions and increase resilience.

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness: The goals are to learn how to become skillful in getting

what you need from others, build relationships, and end destructive ones and how to

walk the middle path in a relationship balancing acceptance and change in relationships.
