Holistic, integrative counseling that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.

Lee Hager
MA, LCMHC, NCC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a MA from West Virginia
University and 20 years of experience as a counselor. I have worked in a variety of
settings including hospitals, social services, vocational services, domestic violence
facilities, and community mental health agencies. I have been with Wisdom Path
for 9 years.

I enjoy working with a diverse group of clients including the LGBTQ+ community
and the BIPOC community, as well as working with people who are unable to
leave home and are interested in having private telehealth therapy sessions. I work
with clients who might struggle with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma
issues, intimate partner abuse, bipolar disorder, adult ADHD, emotion
dysregulation, grief issues, and OCD. I also like to work with clients who might be
interested in learning how to set boundaries, people who are in a transition phase of
life or someone who needs to bounce back by developing resilience skills after an
adverse situation.

I use an integrative approach to therapy drawing on multiple different therapy
models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Adlerian Therapy,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),
Compassion- focused Therapy, grief counseling, Mindfulness-based therapy,
Strengths-based therapy, Schema-based therapy, and Trauma-informed therapy.
I am a very caring and empathic person, and I feel strongly about helping people
resolve issues so they move forward and enjoy their lives. One of the most
profound things I have learned is that everyone has a story to tell. I am honored
that people trust me and are willing to share their pain, as well as their hopes and
dreams.

In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, gardening, reading, and spending time with my
husband and new puppy.
