Dara Barnes, MA, CAS

I have been a School Psychologist working with children and youth ages three through 21 years

old for more than 30 years. In 2006 I obtained my Licensed Psychological Associate license and

expanded my work to include mental health agencies. I provide psychological assessment of

children and adults and provide feedback to parents, schools, physicians, and mental health

practitioners.  

 

I specialize in cognitive and behavioral evaluations of children and teenagers. I

have skills relative to a variety of conditions including AD/HD and Autism, as well as being a

NC approved provider for Traumatic Brain Injury.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time in the mountains; hiking and eating. I also like to

travel for new experiences and adventures. I support my teenage son with his pursuits of

academic knowledge, Tae Kwon Do, percussion, and now driving.
